Biography
Jürgen (alias JJ) is a German-born freelance bassist & lately also focusing on composing, arranging, playing, recording & finally producing own original and mainly various Instrumental Funk-Latin-Smooth-Jazz-World Beat inspired styles or flavors. It's a "one-man-band" project so far and all music is done by myself (and his MIDI friends) at home. He had been in the past also a semi-pro bassist & member of 2 bands from, first Stuttgart (Germany) & later again with 2 bands now from Amsterdam (Netherlands). Most notable band involvement so far had been his gigging for a while with "The JJC Helder Band", a A'dam group around female singer Marlies Helder with a.o. guitarist Joop van Nimwegen (Ex-Q65/Livin' Blues) and drummer Pierre van der Linden (Ex-Brainbox/Focus) of a certain Dutch Rock Music legacy. More recently he joined a side project as bassist, rehearsing & performing with +/- 15 other musicians from various backgrounds & nationalities, called "The Boost Band" in A'dam.
