Surge Radio, the vibrant student radio station from the University of Southampton, offers a unique blend of pop and ambient soundtracks.

Established in 1976 as Radio Heffalump and later rebranded, Surge has evolved over the years, relocating to Highfield Campus in 2005.

Owned and funded by the University of Southampton Students' Union, it remains a cornerstone of the student community, celebrating its 40th anniversary in February 2016.
